Tupac changed the Rap industry forever. Some people would say that he had that most powerful messages to the youth of the ghetto.

Tupac was born on June 16, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York. He lived with his mother, Afeni Shakur and his stepfather who was also his spiritual advisor, Matulu Shakur. They were both Black Panthers and were very involved with the black movements. The Shakurs moved to Baltimore when Tupac was 12 years old. He was then enrolled in the Baltimore school for the arts, where he made his first rap and campaign that was for safe sex, gun violence and education of aids. His mother realized how the crime rate was so high in Baltimore so she moved her son to California to Marin City. Where Tupac began.
