To Kill a Mockingbird

In the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, Jem
and Scout learn a lot but not from school, they learn a lot of
life lessons through out the book, I will tell you about some
of them.

One life lesson that Jem and Scout learn is that you
cant judge something by the way it looks on the outside,
they learned that you have to look in side to find out what
someone is really like. They learned this when they were
getting attacked by Mr. Ewell, Boo Radley came and saved
the both of them which showed them that Boo was not a
bad person at all he was a caring and kind person.

Another life lesson that the two children learns was
that all people are not treated fairly. they learned this in the
trial of Tom Robinson, they saw that black people were not
treated fairly at all no matter how good there case was, the
trial showed the children how prejudice the world they were
living in was.

The third and final thing that they were taught would
have to be that you have to do what you think is rite no
matter what other people think or say to you, they learned
this lesson from there father Atticus he defended Tom
Robinson even though every said that he should not defend
a black man. He did it because he knew it was the rite thing
to do, and the children knew that was the reason that he did
it too.

There are many things that we all learn about life as
we go on through life this book showed us some of the
things that people learn from other people in your lifetime, it
also showed us some life lessons and they were some
pretty good ones.
