With the final score of 93 to 89 the stadium was filled of emotions. A huge part coming from LeBron James himself. There almost seemed no end to his tears of joy as held the Larry O'Brien championship trophy in his hands. The Cavs have answered a prayer that Cleveland has been longing for since 1964. Many wonder how this victory was achieved. Some say the NBA was rigged and the Championship was unearned. Propaganda and manipulation was a big part of the NBA finals. Some may think more then others, but with that being said, with hard work also comes success. You can never take way from God given talent.Tim Donaghy former professional basketball referee, made many assumptions that the NBA was rigged. He did so even after he was banned from the league for betting in and controlling the point spread in games he was officiating which caused him to serve eleven months in the Pensacola federal prison. Donaghy made these predictions to the The Daily Beast in attempt to expose the master mind behind the fix and that the manipulating of points is still happening. After the final game and the "awful foul calls" such as Draymond Green kicking Steven Adams and not getting suspended or MVP Steph Curry fouling out, The NBA and the FBI went into investigating the case. The only thing they proved was that Tim Donaghy was the only one participating in the manipulation. The Cavs' talent clearly outshines the rumors that the games were being rigged.Looking at the facts, James lead the team back from a 3-1 deficit in the finals that ended up defeating the Warriors. Lebron James did spectacular with 27 points, 11 rebounds 11 assists, three blocked shots and two steals. LeBron stated "I'm true to the game, and I know what I bring to the table. I came back for a reason. I came back to bring a championship to our city. I knew what I was capable of doing. I knew what I learned in the last couple years that I was gone, and when I came back, I knew I had the right ingredients and the right blueprint to help this franchise get back to a place that we've never been. That's what it was all about." With this kind of attitude and being such a physical and powerful player, there is no way they could lose. With the team following behind and making plays, they achieved greatness and won a ring.Heart and talent won the Cavs' the championship, not the Warriors excuses and the assumptions of the NBA being rigged. Both teams played great. But that the end of the day the best man wins and the the Cav's' proved that. Sunday June 19, 2016 The Cleveland Cavaliers brought down the Golden State Warriors and made their mark in history fair and square.
